The Hengshan Hotel is one 4-star hotel managed under the Shanghai Hengshen Group. It was set up in 1936, its predecessor being the famous picardie apparent, with typical European architecture and basic French-friendly interior upholstery. The hotel is located at the intersection of Hengshan Road and Wanping Road, southeast of Shanghai Proper. It is 9kms west of the Airport, 8kms west of the railway station, and 5-minutes walking to the Metro Station Hengshen Road. This area has the reputation of a high-level uptown with elegant surroundings.
