 Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Lhasa
Pick up from the Lhasa airport and transfer to the hotel, have a good rest to acclimate the high altitude in the afternoon, Free day.
Day 2 Tibet potala palace, Jokhang Temple,Barkor Market (B,L,D)
1,Pick up from your hotel around 08:30 to 9:00 am.Drive to the Tibet potala palace, It is a huge treasure house for materials and articles of Tibetan history, religion, culture and arts.
2,After lunch, drive to and visit Jokhang Temple - is the holiest site in Tibet and is the ultimate pilgrimage destination for Tibetan Buddhists.
3,Then we will drive to Barkor Market which is the earliest street of old Lhasa city
4,After the dinner transfer to your hotel after the tour.
Day 3 Sera Monastery, summer palace Norbulingka,Tibet Museum (B,L,D)
1,Pick up from your hotel around 08:30 to 9:00 am.Drive to Sera Monastery-The three Gelug monasteries of Sera, Drepung and Ganden were known collectively as the "Pillars of the State".
2,After lunch, drive to and visit summer palace Norbulingka - Norbulingka, meaning Treasure Park, was first built in the forties of the eighteenth century, covering a space of 40 hectares after continuous expansion by the Dalai Lamas.
3,Then we will drive to Tibet Museum which is show the different culture of Tibet.
4,After the dinner transfer to your hotel after the tour.
Day 4 Lhasa /Yamdrok Lake / Gyantse / Shigatse (B,L,D)
Morning drive up to Kambala pass which is 4794m high, you will have a glimpse of Yamdrok-tso there. It is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet. Then along the Friendship southern Hwy to Gyantse, visit the famous stupa - Gyantse Kumpum, the most stunning architectural wonder in Tibet. Late afternoon drive to Shigatse. Overnight at Shigatse.
Day 5 Shigatse / Lhasa (B,L,D)
Morning visit Tashilunpo Monastery and the spectacular tombs of Panchen Lamas, do its kora. Afternoon drive back to Lhasa along the friendship way. Overnight at Lhasa.
Day 6 Lhasa airport /train station dropping off (B)
Pick up from your hotel and transfer to airort/train to connect your flight/train
